A break from the cold weather
After a long cold spell that put the gators in hiding we were able to observe a few that ventured out to sun themselves last week. The bald eagles have been active up river past Lake Dexter. And now the cold has returned for the rest of this week.
Look forward to end of February beginning of March if you enjoy up close and personal alligator encounters.

Kayak Mother Boat Tours
I'm currently working on a new program that would take 4 kayakers and their kayaks by boat to the remote tributaries of the St. Johns River . Once there, they would kayak to a pick up point and return to Astor by boat. I will update when this tour will begin, most likely in the month of March.
